Leadership
John H. Kennedy, AICP, has 30 years of planning experience
and is considered an expert in land use analysis and
zoning. Mr. Kennedy’s success lies in his ability to work
cooperatively with municipal officials and other professional
consultants to resolve conflicts. Clients rely on John to
guide projects through the approval process, often as the
lead consultant on a team of engineers, architects, land use
attorneys, and other planners.
Mr. Kennedy has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental
Design from the Philadelphia College of Art. He is an active
member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, the
American Planning Association, the Pennsylvania Planning
Association, and the Urban Land Institute. John has spent
the last 20 years in private practice and has worked on
projects in twenty-four states and two Canadian provinces.
Prior to founding his own firm, John was a vice-president at
a nationally recognized planning and architecture firm
based in Philadelphia.
In addition to his consulting work, Mr. Kennedy has a long
history of municipal service. John was a planning
commission member for 13 years in the Borough of
Lansdale and was appointed to several committees and task
forces, including the open space committee, recreational
grant committee, and the revitalization task force.
